A conscious healthy lifestyle rewarded with tomato dinner

Manon Wouters, a nutritionist, asked for nominations on her Instagram account as a kick-off for the Tomato Times Challenge 2022. Wednesday 29 June was the big day. At the trendy rooftop restaurant DeDAKKAS in the centre of Haarlem, the 10 winners enjoyed a very tasty tomato dinner.
Prominent, Growers United's tomato brand, launched the Tomato Times campaign to show consumers that there is a tomato for every moment of the day. This year, the challenge focuses on making conscious healthy choices. To this end, the Prominent brand has entered into a partnership with Manon Wouters, a nutritionist, to inspire consumers with healthy facts and simple food swaps. Together, we show how healthy, affordable and simple dishes made with tomatoes can be.
Dinner for two
The winners of the challenge were treated to a variety of surprising dishes during the Tomato Times dinner. Each course was based on a different type of tomato. Pomodori tomatoes in a cold Spanish tomato soup, and ravioli served with a foam of cherry plum tomatoes. It was plain to see that the attendees had a wonderful time and were particularly surprised by the dessert with tomato. Nutritionist Manon also shared many practical tips and answered all kinds of questions about healthy nutrition.
